Those bullet buttons only work on the 30 caliber mag a second ghost guns built in California! Dude needs to get his facts straight. Sad thing is there are people who listen to this and know no better.

Don’t these news stations have anyone that has even a little bit of knowledge about weapons they are doing stories on? Fact check.

Uh...No.

That would totally have a negative impact on their agenda...

This is the kind of stuff that happens when you need to come up with 1440 minutes of BS to talk about every day. We are "gun people", so we immediately know this is a bunch of BS. But think about the hundreds of thousands or millions of people who will watch that video and be none the wiser. They then turn around and spread this same BS to others who don't know any better. Before you know it, millions of people honestly believe every AR-15 can easily be converted into a fully automatic "assault weapon" with a simple push of a button.

The same thing happens with many topic being discussed by these talking heads. While most of us here are pretty familiar with firearms, most of us are far from experts on many other subjects being discussed. We may have some idea of what they are discussing, but the vast majority are basically taking their word for it, just like those who aren't familiar with guns are doing when Gregg Jarrett is spreading BS lies about AR's. Nothing more than a bunch of sheep taking someones word about subjects they really know nothing about.

Another thing in the display of the terrorists weaponry.  They keep showing pictures of that bag of 10 round clips.  That's going set the magazine crusaders back a generation as far as reporting goes.

Well, let's not be passing judgment 'till we get all the facts.  We haven't heard from hillary yet, maybe she even knows more tricks about bad-guns.

There's a big difference though, for example: even though I work at a hospital, there has never been an instance where I thought to go to any physician and explain to them their hypothesis on why the thingamajiggy not jiggafiying properly, is incorrect.

BS'ers just need to stay out of the conversation.

A major difference between "gun folks" and the general masses is that the majority of us will take the initiative to fact check a topic, regardless of the nature of that topic.

I know there are always exceptions, but just reading here you'll find most folks take little at face value and research the topics themselves...most people...

That's very true. My point was that the general public doesn't truly have a thorough understanding of most subjects being discussed in the news. We are expecting to hear factually accurate information when we tune in. However, when we as viewers don't have a deep understanding of the subject being discussed, we have no idea we're being misinformed. Too many folks hear these talking heads spewing their trash, and they magically become the experts who need to share the [mis]information with everyone they know. Most people aren't nearly as smart as they think they are.
