Looks cool, but also looks like another moving part. Moving parts can fail. One failure can lead to another failure. For range time, I'd say ok, but for any serious business, no.

Are polymer mags better than the aluminum, or steel?

Or is it just personal preference.

Howdo the three rate?

I’m sure everyone will have an opinion, but I see no reason to buy a Metal Mag anymore. I don’t own a Magpul Pmag yet, but from everything I’ve seen they are tougher than metal mags and have fewer problems; plus they look cooler.

Personally I really like the Lancer mags. Just as tough as the P-Mags while being translucent. I also like the constant curve of the body. The T-mags will be interesting to see. I only wish the price would come down. I can see the usgi mags sticking around just for their sheer cost advantage and availability. Plus they work, so you can't argue much with that.

Plus the fact that its irritatingly hard to find PMAGS right now...

USGI mags are about all thats readily available.

I've still been able to find the Lancer mags, just got a few the other day, and for about the same price as windowed PMags.
