Having a lot of issues

I'm having some very strange issues that almost seem more like problems with my PC but it's not happening on other forums or websites.

 

• when I try to quote another post and respond to that person it's taking multiple attempts before it will work
• It's not wanting to let me copy and paste material the manual way either.
• I've been trying to create a new post about another topic and it isn't working. Each time I try to preview the post before publishing it says "you must first enter a post" even though my words are clearly visible.
• It will not let me post a video from photobucket

 

As I was typing this I determined I can create a new thread as long as I leave out the link to the video. As soon as I add that it's creating some kind of error that is preventing the entire thing from posting.

This.  Clear everything possible and reboot for good measure.  If you know where your temp directory is clear it out as well.

First thing to always try with Window is zap all cookies related to TGO. 

 

However, note that FireFox lets you just zap the ones for individual site, but last time I noticed on IE, it's all or none, so you lose various settings on all sites if you're using that. Dunno about other browsers.

That seems to have helped tremendously. I still don't understand the video thing though.

I spoke too soon. Still having some of the same issues. I just tried to respond to Garooof in another thread and instead of quoting his post it just gives me the option to add my own comments. It took a 2nd try before his words would show up.

 

I'm staring to wonder if it's a forum issue?

Windows 8 actually helped my comptuer quite a bit. I've been happy with it.

I'll bet FireFox won't give you the same problem.

It's not a forum issue if only one person is reporting it.  I know that's not helpful but there's no sense in hoping that this is something I can resolve for you from this side.  :(
