MCTS - Dickson IDPA / Steel Challenge 12/5/15

Music City Tactical Shooters will be an IDPA match this weekend on 12/5/2015 at our outdoor facilities in Dickson, TN. Setup begins at 7am, shooters meeting at 8:45am, rounds downrange at 9am. We will have 6 challenging stages this weekend. Expect approx 125 rounds minimum depending on possible reshoots.  We will have all kinds of moving targets in the stage designs.

 

We will have a rifle only match immediately right after the IDPA match, If there is enough interest.  This is still being discussed and worked out with the MCTS MDs.

 

We will also be hosting a Steel Challenge match that afternoon.  It will begin at approx. 1pm.  It will be hosted on the upper portion of the property.  Parking on the range for participants is available.

 

We offer a safe, fun atmosphere and welcome new shooters. Come out and bring your friends. Our monthly matches are a great opportunity to hone your skills, improve your shooting accuracy and weapon handling.

Stages are completed. I may tweak some wording or starting positions on the final COF. There is a lot of moving targets in this match.

You should be very pleased with the G34 from John. Hope the brass was good for your loading session.

Approx 12:30-1pm.

Yes, we have always allowed carbines to play for outlaw Steel, Steel Challenge, IDPA(NFC) and USPSA events.

That was fun. IDPA and Steel Challenge, I think I'm really gonna enjoy the Glock 34. Mark, it was fun shooting with you again. Sweet 9mm carbine.

Whatever makes sense for formats. Rifle match could get its own match day if it shows promise.
