Scored on some .22 today!

I just happened to be driving through Nashville today and there just so happens to be two Dick's just off the interstate (the sporting goods store). Scored 4 Federal Champion 525 bulk packs. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Edited by Garufa

I've found 40 grain all over the place but the 36 hollow points are what I like for hunting. I was surprised to find them. And I picked up enough shot shells to last a lifetime.

what do you do with shotshell .22's?  I have about 40 rounds of it.  Dunno what to do with it.

Look for them dumb mice and rats, the ones you can get right up close to. Or venomous snakes you have to get close enough to so they get a chance to bite you. :)

I killed a mouse last spring.  Had some tubs stored in the car port.  Went to check them as I pulled them out of the yard trailer they were in. Big fat mama mouse in one.  Shot her.  Now I have about 38 of them.  dunno what I'd do with 200 rounds of it..  I ain't buying more.

I'd trade them for some 36 grain stuff.

They work good on snakes "so I've heard". At about 8-10 feet they have about a 8" spread from a 4" barrel. They aren't the most practical things but I got a good price on them and they should last forever. On them rainy days it may be fun to sit up in the hay loft and take care of some mice and rats below. I've got an older Taurus Tracker with a 9 round cylinder so I plan to put a couple rounds in while I'm out and about in the woods. Edited by glowdotGlock

Shot shells are great entertainment for shooting "wood" bees (look like bumblebees) when they're buzzing the clover in spring. Thinking it should be an Olympic sport of some sort!

Still have chipmunks?

I'm not sure what the shot shells are for either.

The plastic covers broke on mine and when I pointed it down I could hear all the shot rolling out of the barrel. I still have most of a box.

Good score by the way.
