Ammo boxes

First, I am NOT affiliated with this guy in any way.

I'm always looking for nice, better ways to store reloads. I've been through lots of options from bulky and difficult to store plastic boxes, to home made boxes, you name it.
I found this guy by chance while digging around the web. He's right here middle TN too, so your money stays local.
I just ordered a pack of 9mm boxes and .308's. The pistol ammo boxes are made like the old WWII era 45 ball ammo boxes. (50) rounds upright with leafs that fold over and inside. Looks good to me, we will find out. For anyone interested, I'll post a little review when my order comes in.

Finally recieved after those goons at the post office fumbled again

The quality is very good. Well packaged, clearly printed. Nice.
The guy is also good at communication AND to beat all, he sent me a check for $4 and a free sticker. Wooo, four whole dollars you say. The check says shipping over payment reimbursement. He certainly had NO obligation to do that but I think it says volumes about him.

Check these out guys.

Will do. I store in cans as well, usually just the 50 round boxes stacked in and a dessicant pack.

I do have some with loose ammo from bulk buys, and considered boxing some of it keep better count on it.

I used to use factory boxes gathered from the trash at the range but these take up a lot less space. You can only get 1000 rounds of 9mm in a 50 cal can using factory boxes. These let you get 1300.

This sounds even better. I'll give them a try.

A few minutes experimenting with it and you can get 30 boxes in a .50 cal can for a total of 1500 rounds.  Nice.

I am mildly disappointed with the .308 Win boxes.  No reasonable combination [without crushing the boxes and making it difficult to remove] will let you get more than 480 rounds per can.  It's a fair trade off though to have my ammo in a more user friendly "dispensary" fashion.

Overall, I'm really happy with them, although I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how exhausting it can be after the first couple thousand.
