I mistook your question.  It helps to clarify which convention center you're talking about.   In this case I can only assume it's in Knoxville?

Ohh god, I'm sorry brother.   MUST be for the kids huh?

I'd rather get kicked in the jimmy than sit through that.

Take your iPod, snake the cord under your shirt and when the lights go down, plug in your ear buds.  The Led Zeppelin boxed set will do nicely.

No idea on your actual question, sorry.

It's owned by the city so should fall under the parks law. Of course, the city of Knoxville probably would call it anything else that they could so it would fall under the law.

The Convention Center is posted. At least last time I was in there. I'm not sure if it falls under the parks law. Oh Shoot can probably clarify that.

The Fantasy of Trees isn't exactly a show, its an exhibition. I haven't been, but I want to take Little Man this year. He likes flashy stuff. And it does support a good cause. East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Whom, unfortunately, we have had to visit too many times. And they have always been fantastic.

But, FYI, last time I walked in the CC doors, there were no metal detectors. Good thing. If I go this weekend, I'll post an update.

I got conned into visiting the 4th circle of hell a couple years ago. I believe the doors say something to the effect of "no weapons". Not a legal posting as I recall, but the intent is clear.

Gosh that is a pretty vague posting. I know a few guys who would have to cut their hands and feet off to go in. So if your a Black Belt Master your not allowed to enter this place?........................
