Anyone else travel by air frequently?

I'll fly anywhere. My monkey is afraid of heights. To me boats are a no no. Disease, deaths, flipping. Too many stories, too many times. Just not worth the risk. I'd rather fly. I'll just have to medicate him at some point to get him to fly instead.

    If you need some pointers, "The A-Team" shows can help you.  There's a different plot to medicate B.A. every time they fly.

LOL y'all crack me up, I wish I had a plane full of you guys on every one of my flights, it would make my job ( airline captain) easier and more fun. Also as a deputy I agree with a lot of what everyone is saying, the majority of people loose their minds every time they get close to an airplane, not one day goes by by I don't want to bitch slap AND arrest some passengers...

Actually I would be quite happy if shortly after take off if y'all let out some sleeping gas into the cabin so that we all wake up rested and refreshed... No need for in flight refreshments or potty breaks etc....

I've actually had flight attendants ask me to turn the oxygen down so everyone would go to sleep

I feel like this happens on Southwest all the time. Haha Edited by suspiciousmind

If I never got on another plane again in my life I'd be happy. Been flying since 1978 and down to about 100 flights a year the past two years, 98% on Southwest. So happy it is all domestic now.

I agree with all that Hozzie is saying. I also sit on an the aisle and my favorite peeve is those who have bags/backpacks on and then turn and the bag/pack comes towards my head/face. I just grab and stop it and politely ask them to turn the other way.  Thank God for Pre-check. TSA should have done that 10 years ago.

My wife says that all the people who used to take the bus are now flying.... I shudder to think about taking a bus anywhere.

Did it once, never again!   I'll rent something and I don't care if it's a U-Haul.

Heh heh. I'm with Monkey Man. I'm not afraid of heights. But I can swim, I can't fly.

It would be interesting to compare deaths from flying vs boating.

Anyway, this year I flew for the first time in 10 years. It will most likely be a dire emergency (or extremely lucrative opportunity) before I will fly commercially again.

Eff the crowds, eff the TSA, eff not being in control of the vehicle. If you want to know if sweaty palms is a real phenomenon, check my hands during take-off and landing. Edited by Clod Stomper

I am totally flying out to the land of In-n-out today and will sometime in the next few days enjoy a double-double animal style.

I tried that place out for the first time when I was in Cali a few months ago. It was ok, but I guess I don't see what the hoopla is about.

I do like not having TOO many options. Simple is good. Is that the draw?

Personally I love to fly, I have taken off in a plane about 850 times, only landed in one about 44 times. I don't like landing in a plane.  :)

Take offs are optional, landings are mandatory. That doesn't include space travel though.

Had read this one twice to figure out your riddle.

For trips over 10 road hours, I fly. I also try to support AA as my buddy is a FO on the Super MD80 out of Dallas. If you ever hear "Morgan Leake" over the intrcom, relax, you are in great hands.
