More 10/22 Mad Moments

Fellow TGOr Plinker4life and I did some trading of 10/22 parts and pieces.  This is what came out of it for me.

 

Green stock 10/22 is Boyd's stock, R/T bedding, Que Bolt, Kidd trigger kit, McGowan threaded .920 taper to .750 SS barrel, Japanese Tasco 8-32x44 Fine crosshair w/Tgt Dot.

 

Blondie is bedded stock refinished by TGOr Plinker4life, Que bolt, Plinker4life trigger, Green Mountain Running Boar barrel, 2-7x33 Redfield Duplex with parallax reset to 50 yards.

All the usual online sources is where I get ammo.  Of course we don't shoot "spray and pray" style.  Once in a while we might have a crazy 10 rd mag to strafe some haplass soda crackers but normally we don't shoot like that.  I've seen no shortage of SK, Wolf, RWS and the other usual premium brands.  I have so little 3-6 cent ammo it is almost funny, almost.

 

I went to a little store here in Clarksville yesterday and picked up 40 grn CCI Quiet (710FPS), 29 CCI CB Long (710fps), 29 grain CB Short (710fps), Aguila 60 grain SSS, 45 grain AE suppressor at 950fps and some kind of slow moving Winchester CB Match just in case critters stage another night raid on my neighbor's chickens. For the most part the prices were better than anything I have seen online for these hard to find types of .22. I have a single shot as well as some custom 10/22 mags that allow me to use my 10/22s like a bolt action rifle to shoot these low powered .22s.
