So I was robbed at gun point and driven all over this God forsaken country and I just said just go ahead and shoot me you piece of ×××× before I kill your whole family. Miraculously I was thrown out of the car with my backpack. I would just like to thank my company for screwing up my flights and landing me in the worse place on earth.

He is ok , just a little pissed , good thing he did not have a Protech handy ... :)

Sometimes having a boring 9-5 job doesn't seem all that bad. Glad he's okay and can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

I didn't Google it,I'm sure someone will and post a link, but I was under the impression they have some of the most DA gun laws.

I don't think he'd be carrying anyway right ? Unless his job requires he carry it abroad. Edited by FUJIMO

I don't think he was in Australia when this happened.  He was due to be working off the coast of South Africa this month.

Yep. He didn't say where he was robbed, but was on the way to South Africa. i'm sure he will fill us in.

Not banned, just highly restricted. Maybe by our standards they are, for all intents and purposes banned, but there are still plenty of guns, both legal and illegal.

If I worked for a company and they sent me into any foreign land with all the stuff going on all around the world they would only send me home because I would submit my resignation before they could hand me the plane tickets..........JMHO. This is the only place in the world I feel safe and more so in Tennessee than even some of the other states......JMHO again.

 

Hope Willis gets home safe and quits that damn job and gets something 9-5 at home....... :up:

Hey isn't he the guy that had a health issue earlier this year or late last year in South America. I think someone is trying to tell him something.
