Now that I have your attention, say a nuke is used as a terror weapon, ya think we as a people will pay it back in spades?

I know "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord".

So islamic terror take a school, we know it will be very bad.

What would it take to get all the people behind an action that could change the world for ever?

Only nations have the ability to deliver a Nuclear weapon. So yes, retaliation would be swift and brutal to set an example. I doubt anyone that has the ability to deliver a nuke will do so knowing that minutes later, them and many of their people will be dead.

More than likely a dirty bomb will be used and we won’t have a target to attack. That image in your post is pretty cool, but the message doesn’t make sense. To use a nuke your target needs to be a place; not a religion. Also Muslim extremists don’t fear death; you won’t threaten them into submission (stop murdering innocent people) you will have to capture or kill them.

Obama has opened the flood gates for terrorists to enter our county; it will now only be a matter of time to see the results. Edited by DaveTN

After watching the PBS series on the Roosevelts, the lead up to WWII with U.S. involvement was filled with protests, no one wanted the U.S. to enter, but FDR carefully crafted in a brilliant way to prepare the nation for War.  However, it still took Pearl Harbor to involve the U.S. directly.  And the rest was history.

Suppose FDR's father was German or Japanese, would he had crafted the nation to prepare for war, or would he have gone a different path?

One of the few things that cause me to not sleep well sometimes.

A dirty bomb makes a place off limits for a longtime.

In a country that has nuclear weapons such as the USA they must first be willing to accept all of the collateral damage that will be involved. There are counties that have them but only willing to use them as a last resort and then there are countries that have them such as North Korea Pakistan and probably soon Iran that would use them as a weapon to destroy an enemy they just feared and not care about collateral damage. This is a dangerous world folks and we all know how ISIS believes. They look forward to death and don't fear it. That can be probably the most dangerous enemy any country can have and every country in the free world is their target with the west being at the top of their list. If someone does not cut the head off this snake it will strike and continue to strike until someone does. Lets hope its head is cut off sooner than later...........jmho
