Does anyone have recommendations on reloading .45acp for power factor of 165-170? I'm currently shooting CFE pistol with 230gr fmj. Power factor of about 210-220.

the link didn't help at all.... I'm looking for different loads that people are using, different powders, different weights...... to get a power factor of 170, and still cycle full size 1911, with various recoil and mainhousing springs.....

Mine really eats up the 185gr rounds with 8.1 or 8.2 grains of unique (depending on the brand of bullet). It should be right around that PF, but is on a 4" barrel.  I use 185's just because they run like butter through my EDC with a 3.3" barrel, the 4" functions better with 200's, but it's easier just to use one bullet weight for everything.

As always, make sure to validate those recommendations first.
