I'm not familiar with that brand.  If it is truly a reproduction on an old model, it may be expensive because of the cost to manufacture it to those old standards.

 

I was looking at some reproduction Sharp's rifles and they are in that same price range.

I'm familiar with the short 16" takedown .44 magnum version of that 1892 "Alaskan". It's made by Chiappa of Italy but only, I believe, distributed here in the U.S. by Taylor's. Good build quality overall.

As a company Taylor's, to the best of my knowledge, has a good reputation as a standup outfit. Edited by Djay3

Sounds good. Now I just have to save / sell off some to get it. Might be a good replacement if I sell my old Winchester 94.
I actually found it through Jeff Quinn at gunblast.com. Love watching his videos on YouTube.
