That is GORGEOUS!

I will have that one someday, Mine will be two tone DLC Stainless Frame, black Lip Mother of Pearl handle with Chad Nichols stainless Damascus blade, it should be very nice

Stone washed blades are more durable are they not?

No, stone washing, acid etching or bead blasting allow the blade to hold debris and moisture better than a polished blade. Those finishes are for appearance only. All blades must be cared for no matter what the finish.

The Black Blades and Two Tone Blades by Protech like the one you will have very soon are coated in ion bond otherwise known as DLC for Diamond Like coating I have had several knives this way and a couple of 1911 pistols with this coating, it is very durable and protects the steel Edited by willis68

This is by far the nicest knife I have ever owned, Dave knocked my custom knife order out of the park, the pictures do not do it justice, Cringe all you want this IS my carry knife

I will not cringe over this knife. I may drool, lust, and contemplate foulness upon you because I don't have it, but cringe...nope. I won't be doing that.

Here is the knife with Stonewashed Blade along with #1 TGO TR4

It is hard to get a good picture without the light disturbing it but it looks killer in person

That is beautiful! I think the stonewash and the marble is a great combo!

Patiently waiting for the Godson. :)

I second this. Passed on the latest one in hopes the Godson would be next.

Hm. Tough decision, but I want the magic first. I already have all the others, to include the Godfather. While a matched set is cool, I really want to get the magic because it's so different and unique. I already have a pile of standard automatics... no magics.

The magic excites me way more than the Godson.

That is why I want this to be the next one, Guys you have no Idea just how cool this knife is I have showed one of mine to 15 different people and none of them could figure out how to open it, but when you know how it deploys extremely fast they are the coolest knives I have ever seen and that is saying a lot since my whole life I have been a knife guy

How about a Damascus blade on this Willis ?!?!?!  That's all the real pizzazz I need!

A limited amount of those could be done, but they are not cheap

I have passed on all of the previous Protechs, but may have to get one of these when available. I've been very content with my Kershaw Blur and CRKT knives but one of these Protech autos have really been calling me...

Damascus? :yum:  :yum: You know how I like that! Not asking for an exact quote, but do you have any idea what that might add to the average we've been paying?

I'm hoping to get up and see Kim Breed soon, and see what he's made recently. Might be able to finagle a Damascus of some form out of him.
