Saw something weird the last few days

They hire off duty cops in case they have to deal with traffic for insurance and law that they can't direct traffic.

Is this just for cable layers?  The reason, I am have seen just in past few weeks (like always), the construction jobs for new roads, the contractor has his own people directing traffic.  I know one of these directing traffic guys, and he has no affiliation with law enforcement, but yet he directs traffic with his flip sign stop/caution.  This is a large notable local contractor too.

Depends on the company, county and what road is being worked.

I worked the interstate a few years ago putting up light poles, we had State, Metro and County helping.

Worked out in the country around Franklin, we did the traffic.

Just depends on what is going on where.

Went past a few days later same guys cept they had a hibachi grill going same setup..... Go figure

AT&T, nor any company for that matter, can't screw you out of your money. You make a value decision when you purchase their service. Either you value the money you have more or you value the product they provide more. If you hand over your money without a gun in your face, you haven't been screwed out of anything.

ATT charges people for more sideline crap than u can imagine. Most of the fees come with an explanation that would baffle Einstein.ask for a breakdown of their Fcc /911 ad nauseum fees.... you'll never see it in writing. They put out u verse when they knew it wouldn't work. They also told their managers to not let anyone go back to DSL under any circumstance if they cancelled u verse. Att has always been a crime syndicate and always will be. Smartest thing as mentioned is treat ATT like a pit bull w AIDS..... Edited by Dustbuster
