Still have some more steel wool/polishing to do on that but I was getting annoyed with the oil smell and to dark to do it outside.

changed the oil/filter, radiator fluid, added brake fluid (I think I'll be bleeding the lines), got an air cleaner.

Is't it great to have an engine compartment you can actually work in?

My last car was a 1996 Camaro. I loved the car, but it was a serious PITA to work on. About the only things that were readily accessible were the air filter and alternator.

Changing the spark plugs turned into a two-day project the first time I did it. After I learned the proper technique, it shrunk to only a three-hour or so job. Still required raising the car, though. About half the work was done from below, and half from above.

Yeah I have also removed the plugs on that side and I'm going to replace plugs and wires sometime next week. Obviously Im not driving it (beside the fact that its not been registered since 98) since its in pieces atm.

This is my old truck, I've always regretted selling that old bird. 1982 chevy k10 stepside. 350, th350 combo. Everything on the engine said edelbrock on it. The guy before me had over $9k in that old truck!
