Periodic Physical Fitness Standards for Police & Firefighters

Put in General Chat because this isn't a debate thread over the issue, but rather a request for some help with a school project.

I'm writing a paper on the thread topic, and need to include real world examples both in my paper for analysis and as appendixes (the actual policies) so I'm asking the TGO community if they know of any county/city/town in Tennessee that has a formal standard on paper that I can get a copy of for educational purposes.  This is for periodic policies only, not cities that only require testing at the initial hiring.

Thanks, folks.

I know we have to do our yearly deal involving a run, spint, pushups, and situps. Don't think it set out in policy as much as the man says it is so. I'll do some checking tomorrow when I get back on my departmental computer to see if it that is in a genral order or just a general order about fitness for duty. Edited by Pain103

Here is some info that may help:

Mt. Juliet apparently tests all public safety periodically. May be able to call HR there and request policy copies.

Also, here are some jurisdictions across the country.

I know White House also has PD test annually on their obstacle course. May want to request a policy copy there, too. Edited by homeagain

Sorry it isn't in a GO as just ordered so I'm no help. Also I probably wouldn't bother with officer.com about asking for information for a school paper or project they tend to have an unwritten rule among the users not to help. Bad past experiences. Edited by Pain103
