We have some property in Benton County and will be retiring there in a year or so. In fact, we're here now visiting my sister in Camden for Thanksgiving.

Been in Fla 47 years. Tired of the oppressive humidity, traffic, high taxes and insurance, and the postage stamped size lots. I want to be able to shoot my guns when I want to (safely, of course), build a fire when I think it's safe. Teach my grandkids how to grow vegetables and raise chickens.

Bringing the family here too. I want my grandkids to grow up in the country and appreciate a simpler life.

Wow. Your plan of moving back with the kids and grandkids reminds me of the chorus of one of my all time favorite musician's songs. It's from John Prine's Spanish Pipe Dream which appeared on his self titled debut album "John Prine" back in '71. the last refrain went like this:

We blew up our T.V. Threw away our paper.

Moved to the country, built us a home.

Had a lot of children, fed 'em all on peaches
