S&W Performance Center 1911, Dan Wesson, or Springfield TRP?

Thanks for all the advice, after handling numerous 1911's, I went with the S&W performance center full size, I liked the looks the most, and surprisingly the trigger felt more clean, crisp, and lighter than the TRP and DW Specialist. My only complaint is I like a fiber optic front, which is an easy fix

I do not like Smith & Wessons at all but the Performance Center is a beautiful gun - alas, if only it was not a smith.

Congrats and *ahem* we need pictures

Congrats on the nice pistol.  The only S&W I've owned were revolvers.  After several pistols from SA I recently got a DW.  If I had got the DW first I'd likely have several more by now.

They are basically the same gun except the STX has extra polished parts, silver controls, and ambi thumb safty. Edited by Wicked1911
