ammo to go processing time

I placed an order with ammunition to go on the 13th. I recieved word today that the order shipped today. 12 days. They gotta be swamped.

No doubt. My orders have never taken longer than 24 hours to ship. Last order was about 4 weeks ago though.

ammoman.com is backed up a week or more also, I was lucky and got my order in before the Election so I got my order fairly quick.

I placed an order with "ammo to go" on the 11th...due to be delivered tomorrow.

They were upfront with the delay when I ordered, citing workload.

Ordered from Ammo-to-go on the 9th, arrived today the 25th.

Seems most places are running behind. I ordered bulk bullets from Roze distributing on the 16th and just today they processed my bank account.

I don't mind the wait particularly. I do appreciate they are upfront about their turn around time and my order was within their time frame.

Planning ahead to not be caught short is the key.

I placed an order with them a couple weeks ago....got it last week. Took about a week and a half to get here. They do tell you right off the bat how long it's going to take and they were within the time they quoted. My beef with the order is that along with some ammo, I ordered an AK-47 mag.....it was in a plastic bag, but the oil it was covered in leaked out and soaked into two of my boxes of ammo (fairly pricey Speer HP's). They really should have wrapped the mag in some newspaper or something. I decided not to complain about it though.....I know they're swamped and are hurrying to get stuff out the door. The bullets were in a plastic tray inside the box and hadn't actually made contact with the oil....so I'm guessing it won't hurt anything.

The 9mm is just plinking ammo...

The 12ga is SHTF ammo, figured a 250rd case of Remington 3" 10-pellet 000-Buck shells might be worth having around to put down zombies. Outdoor Marksman had the best price on that particular load (which patterns the best out of my shotty)
