Hey yall!

I proudly brandish a Springfiled XD, a Bersa .380, and some old Gunsmoke piece my father-in-law gave me. I haven't shot these much and am so new, I'm hesitant to field strip the guns to clean them. It would be a bad thing if I couldn't get them back into the proper shooting mode.

Anyone out there in or around Antioch experienced with guns that can take a novice under their wings and show 'em the ropes? Yep, I need a shooting partner. I envy people with acres of yard because they probably can shoot in their backyard without fear of a bullet peircing a neighbor or a neighbors property.

Well, glad to know you fabulous TGO people!

Welcome! :dirty:

Dont be afraid to break down your guns! They can only go back together one way.....well most of the time anyway, but with those two,you cant do it wrong ;)

Here is a link to a great site that has detailed instructions for disassembling the XD http://www.xd-hs2000.com/disassembly/disassembly.html

You can also check out youtube for videos on cleaning guns!

welcome to the forum!!

as usual, you show up when I'm changing markets. *sigh* I've needed a shooting partner for the last 2 months! sadly, I'm now heading for Boston to work for awhile.

Enjoy the forum and enjoy your firearms! practice as much as you can afford in both time and ammo and you'll see huge improvements!
