Tested the AK Pistol with flash hider off. It was so fun, my wife asked me to not put it back on. Lol

With the Manticore flash hider you recommended, it eliminated the flash. I was shocked how well it worked!

A friend of mine was shooting at an indoor range several years ago.  The guy next to the wall was shooting a Desert Eagle with similar fire-ball results.  After a particularly enthusiastic mag dump, they noticed the entire wall was on fire and it was slowly rolling across the floor.  Seems the DE unleashed enough heat to light off the powder residue.  They ran for the door to get an employee and found one standing at the back.  His nonchalant reaction... "Yeah, I saw that.  It'll burn itself out in a second or two.  The ventilation will clear the smoke in a minute."   They were somewhat incredulous and he was basically... meh, it happens.

I will try to get a few pictures of my 7.5" AK. I have Tula, Wolf and a few other brands to shoot. I will says the concussion is what I would call substantial and the flash is monstrous. Definitely not fun to shoot without foam ear plugs AND muffs.

I'm going to have to thread the barrel on that one though. Wish me luck! :meh:
