Savage 22lr bolt action.

I'm assuming handgun, since that's the forum in which posted? Otherwise sure, include Ruger 10/22 and Marlin 60 and many others.

But as far as handguns,  Hi-Point stands alone in the >200 range, but >300 brings in a number of other heaters, all debatable about "best" depending on caliber and other criteria.

A lot of the NAA stuff comes in under the 300 limit, for example. Quality of construction would be among one of the "best" in this regard, for example.

And we're talking new price, not used, which opens up more.

That's what I get for simply cruising the "unread" on tapatalk. My fault.

The only 2 NEW handguns I've owned <$300 that I'm not ashamed of having owned are my Kel-Tec P-32 and a Hi-Point C9. I give both damn high marks.

Hi ponts and Keltecs are for sure the best in centerfire category. But let me tell you, NAA mini's are well crafted little machines.

Smith SD series. Though after tax it may be 315 OTD. Academy runs them at 279 every now and then.

Oh heck yeah ! I forgot about them .

Close this thread. This is your answer.

My Ruger P-Series pistols are as reliable as my Glocks and even I am a huge Glock fan and still admit it .
