Thieves attempt to break into Shooters, Guns and Ammo

It happened around 5 a.m. at Shooters, Guns and Ammo located on Murfreesboro Pike and Foster Avenue.

The guy who left his truck running at the mapco will at least get a citation for leaving truck running unattended.  Might even get something charged to him from damage to store if I had to guess.

I'm guessing they didn't have time to wait until the store opened and fill out a 4473 form like most folks...

If I am not mistaken, isn't that the old Gun City location. If it is, that place was but like Fort Knox and sat right on the corner kinda hanging on to a hill. Been in there a few times and you ain't gonna drive no normal pick up truck through the front of that building......jmho

Yep, same building. Shooters is on the left, GC is on the right with the range below it.

 

IIRC, Shooters opened when GC got their FFL pulled for not keeping their books in order. So you get your guns at one end of the building, get your ammo and accessories at the other end.

 

It would have been ironic if the perps had broken in to Gun City only to find no guns inside.
