Shot for first time in a long time.

Recommended Posts

So I went sunday and rented a Glock 17 and a Springfield XD. I think I enjoyed the Springfield a bit more. There were times when I could actually see the hit exactly where I was aiming with the XD. I realized I do need to fire a bunch more before I can become comfortable in making a decision in which gun is right for me. I think I might just get an inexpensive gun that I can take to fire every now and again just to get a good stance, grip and overall comfort of firing.

I noticed that I was making minor errors so to speak after some shots. I did want to try more of a variety but 100 rounds went pretty quick and again the whole getting comfortable came into play and I don't think it would have been a fair assessment for each gun anyway. I did have fun and had some really tight groups at times. I was going to try to go today since I had one more day of discounts from the student appreciation card they give us for class but I smashed my thumb and think I'm going to lose the nail...
