I got a couple at the end of August for $140 each from AIM, but they are now sold out.

I shopped around and that was close to the best price.  Maybe the good times have come to a close.  $100 a few months ago, $140 two months ago, $200 now?

It's pretty much sold out for now.  Most of the recent shipments were coming in from Ukraine, the recent activities there have made additional imports problematic at best.  There's been some fear-mongering as well, unfounded rumors that it's now banned from import, etc.  Until some of the uncertainty and regional conflicts settle down in the areas that still have large deposits of surplus ammo, don't look for the supply to ease any ...

Nah, best to keep it.  Of course at this point 100 rounds will last the rest of my life.

So glad I stocked up when it was $120 a crate (2 spam cans).

About 5 years ago I bought 2 Mosins and a spam can for $270.  I guess this is what happens when everybody and their cat own a particular gun.
