I am headed to the mountains in the morning for a little fall family getaway, and the wife and I want to visit the distillery and take the tour, etc. but we have a 3 and 7 year old with us, so question is will they be allowed in? I am thinking they will, not like the are going to be drinkng or attempting to purchase anybof the shine. Do any of you have any knowledge of this?

Haven't been to that specific one, but if it's like the ones around here, they allow kids of any age in there, unless it's on a tasting tour.  There are normally two types of tours - the free ones, then the ones you pay a few bucks for and get to try out the goods after the tour - but it's such a small amount that the tasting tours are a waste of $ IMHO.

I have been there, it was a pretty open environment.  I don't see an issue having kids with you there.  Plus they don't give you enough to get toasted.

I took all their samples, plus samples as a near by wine place and sugar land.  I stayed totally fine.

Don't give you enough to get toasted.  I know of a few men that visit during a busy time.  They go from table to table sampling.  They either can't hold their own, or they were quite buzzing.

They will be allowed in,but they will not be allowed at the counter. If you hit all five moonshine establishments in a short period you can get toasted.
