And on another note... one of the vendors on the M4C forums is catching flack from some troll... because he listed 3 Magpul PMAGs on GunBroker for $60 (fair price when you factor in the GB fees), and morons drove it up to $150+. That's $50 per mag.

Wasn't the vendor's fault... people are stupid and going on panic spending sprees. But some douche nozzle is trying to accuse him of price gouging.

Regardless... People are paying $50 per mag! WTF people.

EDIT/ADDENDUM: This same vendor has also mentioned he's starting to get a little worried. All of his stock is going out the door and nothing is really coming back in, from the manufacturers, to restock his inventory. The supply/demand ratio is really FUBAR right now.

Yep. Very stupid.

On another note, Cheaper Than Dirt is catching hell over on AR15.com over their prices for PMAGs. Not so much so for their price of $39.97 per mag, but because they inflated the MSRP to $59.96 in order to make look like you actually saving money. Even Magpul chimed in on the thread, saying that they have not increased their MSRP. CTD seems like bunch of crooks.

CTD seems like bunch of crooks.

They seem to have been that way in one aspect or another ever since I started visiting their site a couple years or more ago.

Bought a fixed blade knife - nothing what it looked like in the pic nor according to the description. Ended up using it as a thrower, and it sucked at that even. LOL

Joe - Speaking of inventory, can you give us a status on current Hero Gear inventory - stripped or complete lowers - and the prospects for the future?

Thanks

not to speak for joe (but I will) but I was at hero gear thursday, and while they are selling a crap ton of guns, they have pretty good stock and are working their asses off to make sure they stay stocked. there were still plenty of EBRs of many flavors to be had, as well as some ECRs (camo).

my personal opinion is that there is a slight lull in available inventory because of the panic frenzy, but a lot of the stock shortages that companies are talking about is just a lame ass excuse to charge people double....we'll see where we spend our money in 6 months when this levels out

We have 250 lowers inbound. (sold over 50 in the first week of the "O" effect)

ETA on the 250 is 1st week in Dec.

We still have maybe 25 EBRs in stock, with another 25-50 inbound.

All EBRs in 308 are out of stock, but have 6.8mm, 6.5 Grendal, 5.45x39 available.

5 or 6 complete lower receivers from Smith and Wesson are in stock

Still have hundreds of handguns in stock, so no worries there.

Monkey Balls are in stock in all colors including pink :dunno:
