Sanders moderate gun record

Well, truth be told and in all fairness, in comparison to some of his Democratic counterparts, he is pretty moderate.  Just the other day he gave a speech indicating he does not support lawsuits against gun store owners if a gun they sell is used in a crime (assuming the gun shop followed the laws).

Well thats basic common sense stuff tho...should a person who gets hit by a drunk driver be able to sue the dealership that sold the car to the individual who decided to get drunk and wreck it? Nope...

His remark at the debate to defend his moderate positions on guns was because he was from a "rural state"

I hope the folks in vermont appreciate the backhanded insult he just gave then

Yeah, NRA grades him D-minus, so could be a bit worse.

Hes moderate like Biden --- you can shoot through the door at whoever with a shotgun but you can't defend yourself with a pistol from the guy bashing your head in.     Pistols to da face be bad.  Shotguns thru the door be ok.    This be common sense gun control.   Its not hard to understand at all ... whatever does not make sense, that is their stance.

Heck, I'm all for keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill.  I'm just not willing to give up my rights to accomplish that, plus that wouldn't accomplish that task anyway, IMO it's just an excuse to disarm America, Bernie isn't stupid he knows this.

I noticed last night on the debate it was said several times that it wasn't their goal to infringe on the hunting traditions of America.  These clowns need to realize that our gun rights have absolutely NOTHING to do with hunting.

I am ok with the hunting angle if they will acknowledge that it is OK and not uncommon to hunt deer with an AR or a pistol :)

Lots of them do the "don't want to take away your guns" mantra.

Then in next breath mention that assault weapons should still be banned, which is taking away our guns.

So does that mean as president he would support an AWB that would ONLY effect "urban states"?

So those in RURAL states would not be affected?

Sure, then they would define any state having more than 25 residents as "non rural."
