I was glad to see on the news last night that the military and the Governor of Tennessee has authorized that all military recruiters will now be allowed to again carry weapons while on duty in the Recruiting Offices. This was something that never should have been stopped but it took the death of 5 military personnel to get it done. It should have been done back at the Ft Hood Shooting but like normal Federal Government policies it takes an act of Congress to get anything changed. Glad to see the change for the better................jmho

I'm pretty sure that's just for Guard recruiters. Recruiters for the active duty forces don't fall under the governor's pervue.

It always takes a disaster or two before the gubbermint acts. Heaven forbid common sense was used beforehand.....just sayin'.

I'm sure you're not. However, active duty and guard/reserve recruiters often share office space. So that's better than nothing.

You may be correct but it is a move in the right direction anyway. Maybe if enough states make the same move it will shame to Feds into doing the same thing................. :2cents:
