ohhh..I came SO close to buying a RIO 1911 with a 4 inch barrel. I wanted it badly, but the young fella that I was talking to earlier wanted a pistol and was a novice..so to keep him from buying one of those "safe action" pistols that are no where near safe for a novice, I showed it to him. he got it.

Instead, I picked up a gun safe for the Jeep and some ammo for my m44.

Is it a decent show? I might go tomorrow if it is worth going.

I would mainly be interested in handgun ammo, and AR uppers.

Although something of a gun-show neophyte, I was pleasantly surprised, at least, that the gun and gun-supply vendors outnumbered the knife and food sellers, anyway.

And, yes, there was a fair amount of handgun ammo. I purchased some 9mm target boxes at a price lower than I can find them locally at home, and some .45 ACP Hornaday self-defense rounds. Variety was spotty by dealer, but there was some.

I still haven't bought a firearm though...I intend not to.
