CAI C39V2 AK47 - WHAT'S YOUR OPINION

I have several AK's now, both or stamped metal/rivet construction: Romanian Wasr 10 and Serbian N-PAP. I feel my Wasr 10 is AK47 typical design with 2 screw stock attachment, left side rail mount, threaded barrel 1x14 Lh, and chrome plated barrel. The N-PAP has a screw thru stock for attachment, like most shotguns, a chrome plated bolt and carrier, 1x14Lh threaded barrel but not chrome plated.

I know the Arsenal AK47s are advertised to be one of the best, but at a much higher price $1200+.

I was wondering how the CAI C39V2 compares in attributes  at a price $700-$800.

I see in literature and other forums that the CAI C39V2 has a milled receiver, 2 screw stock attachment, chrome plated barrel threaded 1x14 Lh,  but no left side rail. This AK47 is advertised as completely made in USA. Most literature says this AK47 is more accurate with a butter smooth bolt/carrier and a improved trigger.

Those that own or have shot the C39V2, what is your opinion of this carbine????

You can find arsenals for under a grand. I hear the new Century guns are better than once were. James Yeager is pushing all of their stuff now. I almost got a V2 but couldn't justify the extra cost versus one of the new WASRs.

I have bought five Romanian guns in the last 18 months and ALL have been perfect. No flaws, accurate as any AK I have shot and as reliable as ANY gun on the market, AK or not.

Yep, got two fairly recent WASRs myself. I consider them the Glock of the AK world.
