Hate to hear that. I don't know of any other place hear that would be open this late. If he can wait till the morning I recommend Tire world. I've known the family that owns it  for the past 15 years, Good people.

If you grease the rim of the tire it will help it seal if there are gouges or bends or dings in the rim.

What kind of car?

Maybe one of us here have some old wheels and tires that might fit or at least a wheel.

I'm confident I got the rim straight enough to hold air. It is the 5 star 16" rim for an 07 malibu. apparently these are fairly soft rims from what I have heard since this all happened. Which I could tell when I was able to straighten it with an adjustable wrench. All that to say that they are hard to find since they were only used 3 years and people buy them up because they bend so easily. May have to break down and spend the $150 on a new one...just have a hard time spending that on a steel rim. If anybody has one laying around that's be great!

On a positive note...even with all the stress of being stranded and little rest because he had to study after we got all that mess straightened out. He passed his physical fitness assessment and will be getting his uniform for rotc! Proud papa had to brag!
