Yep Junglist, I'm working on making one of those right now.

Originally I wanted to offset the scope not the back up sight. I shoot at rather short distances and Irons are better for me, so in fact the SCOPE would be the back up sight, not the irons.

If I don't like the little add on mount/ring thingy, that's what I am going to do. I'd like to offset the scope to the left and then buy a clamp on rear sight to work with my permanent front sight.
