Who has bought some recent 5.56 Tula?

I just read that they have quit using the copper washed bullets and went to some sort of other coating that is silver. Specifically the 100 round boxes. I was told the change was rather recent.

If they are switching away from copper I would like to find out what they are going to.

Or another answer offered is some of the current production never got copper coated at all, leaving bare steel.

Thanks

Description on CTD's website says they are moving to a zinc coating.  That's all I got.

Well, that's first bit of possibly real news then.

Maybe they can claim that without actually putting anything on the steel jackets at all, save production costs and promote replacement barrel sales. :)
