Stolen/lost P238

Wife said her P238 disappeared  SN: 27A157187 last week.  She filed a police report, I'm still waiting to get a copy of it.  It's hard to miss, 2a coated the thing bright pink & it looks like this if anyone happens to see one floating around on the gun sites.  Had it coated bright because she misplaces everything and I wanted this to be easy to see.  Guess that was a failed effort.

She moved out about 6 months ago and I have no clue what her arrangements are now, if the gun was lost, stolen or wtf happened to it.  I just mentioned that I need a copy of the police report, or I'd file one myself since I purchased it and have all the paperwork.  Don't want to think that something I bought could be used in a bad way and it wasn't reported.

Could honestly care less about getting it back, I'm more concerned that it doesn't fall into the hands of someone who shouldn't have one.

Don't be sorry about the wife thing, it's consensual and we're both better off.  Only get one shot at this thing called life, no reason to make each other miserable when we can both be happy doing other things.

Concerning the gun however, I thank you for your condolences :)

Well, she "found" it in her glovebox.  Good thing it wasn't anything important like a tube of lipstick or anything.  Said the police made her bring it in and show she had possession of it to delete the report.
