New Hunting Rifle

Got my new rifle all together today.
It's a 25-45 Sharps MSR.

Upper is SRC 25-45 Sharps with

20" stainless Hbar barrel rifle gas system
Hand gard is Diamondhead VRS T
Bolt & carrier is SRT Reliabolt NIB coated


Lower
Anderson manufacturing stripped lower
PSA LPK
DPMS A2 rifle stock and buffer

Just picked up a Redfield Revenge 3-9x42 with there 4 plex cross hairs and Leupold mark 2 IMS mount will set it up tonight and take some more pictures Edited September 19, 2015 by raildog

Nice! I didn't realize that you where this close to owning one when it came up the other night. Looks like a great build and the round sounds about right for TN hunting from what little I know of each. Looking forward to a range report. :up:

Thanks. Yea we talked about it the outher night. I pulled the trigger Tuesday morning at 11:00 am it was setting on my desk at 9:40 am yesterday it surprised me how quickly it got here Edited September 19, 2015 by raildog

Nice rifle and I enjoyed reading about that particular cartridge, I look forward to further postings on how everything does.

Finally made it to the range today.
The recoil is about the same as .223 more accurate than me took it out to 200 yards. I zeroed at 100 yards cant tale that it is even dropping at 200 yards. The SRC Reliabolt worked flawless. I'm extremely happy with how this build turned out.
