Never heard of them, they sure look nice though and I would say it is somewhat of a good sign to see they are carried by JBO. I got a no name rail of Amazon or ebay last year and it was  basically worthless, I would definitely feel better buying from someone vested in the industry like Joe Bobs.

Let us know if you get it, I am definitely interested in a review.

I had a friend looking for a 15" slim handguard, so when I saw those Matrix Arms handguards this morning, I sent him the link.

I was a little late (2 weeks, LOL). He already bought one of these and says they are solid as a brick bat, despite the low price.

How diggity BigK, that's an even better deal! I'll have to study on this. I like that I'm starting to see some nice options under $100 for a 15" rail now. It keeps amazing me to watch the AR market continue to grow with new manufacturers, etc, joining in all the time while prices continue to drop. Great time to be a consumer!

Only an hour? What kind of commitment is that? Edited by BigK

Aight Kevin, I bit the credit card and bought some stuff from Omega. I got a slim 12" keymod rail, 6-9" bipod, cantilever 1" scope mount, and an endcap that I hope will fit a rail I already have. I wanted a ton more, but stopped there so if it's crap, I'm not out a bunch of money. Well... I won't be out any money cuz if it's garbage I'll just send the statement to you, haha!

But seriously, I'll post up with my impressions of the company and their gear when it arrives. I won't be building another rifle just yet, but I've got the recivers on hand already and am just piecing it together. I really just needed the mount now, but shipping is a flat rate $7.99, so I couldn't just get one thing, lol!

I'm curious to find out if a one piece mount under $100 can be any good. Gunna put it between my M&P10 and Vortex Crossfire II. I have just rings on there now, and it's just thhhaaaattt much too close for my desired shooting position. Another 1/4" would be enough, but I'm all the way forward right now.

Anywho.... it's lunch break and I'm bored. Y'all have a great day! :-D

Lol!!! Pretty close! This may be done by Thanksgiving, maybe not. I keep changing my mind on what I want. It'll really depend on how I feel about this rail. I'm tempted to just turn it into another budget build, but I really want a varmint gun, too. Aaauuuuggggghhhh!!! Oh well... I'll still have 4 more lowers after I build this one out.

Alright so I know nobody cares, but I just wanted to follow up with the report I promised.

First, they are LIGHTNING fast shippers! I ordered this stuff Friday, and it was on my porch today! Wow!

The bipod: meh. It came with all adapters for pretty much any type of attachment, which was nice. It's a little nicer than some of the absolute junkiest ones I've seen at some gun shows, but it's no Harris. Fine enough for my occasional use junk gun, but I'll put a nicer piece on my varmint gun (more on that in a minute.)

The cantilever scope mount: Great... if you wanted a 30mm rig. What arrived was a great 30mm mount with little plastic ring adapters. I contemplated not even using it, but I really wanted to slide the scope on my M&P10 forward, so I slapped it on. It feels pretty solid. Two screws to mount the thing on the rifle, and each ring has 3 screws on each side. Also, the tops of the rails have rail sections, so if one wanted to mount something on top of the scope, this allows that. I'll never use it, but whatevs. If it holds zero over 100 rds I'll probably leave it on, as I like the position of the scope. Feels great now.

Rail: perfect for a knockaround. Heck, maybe it'll even be fine for a nicer rifle, but if this were coming from PSA or the like it would definitely be a blem. Directly out of the box there were some handling marks already, and a few legit finish imperfections/blemishes. Some of the machining is poorly finished as well. I think it's plenty tough and will perform it's function perfectly, but if you like nice things, this isn't the rail for you.

I'm still happy with my purchases, but this build is now going to be a strictly budget, lightweight, knockaround rifle.
