Nice, the 1,000 ways to dress up your SKS.  Guns are really mans version of Barbie dolls, we can dress them anyway we want.

Plan on setting it up for AK mags? I frequently shake my head at not buying several of the Chicom and Russian SKS's when they were so inexpensive. I'd love to set one up in the bullpup stock that's now avalable.

that would be way to much work, i got a couple of tapco mags and have been thinking of the sks mag adapter with the tapco mags but i am not sure yet, right now i need to get it cleaned and get the rust taken care of

The best rust buster IMO is bronze wool from your local boat/marina supply and Kroil ( a TN product ) .Wear protective gloves and work outside .. You could probably use liquid wrench or the solvent of your choice. Hope things go smoothly for you . Bronze wool will not scratch the mild steels and such like steel wool ..
