I've been to specialty arms, on target, guncity usa

and all the pawns I think (not a lot to choose from)

(the non ghetto ones anyways, that don't charge the same as brand new-if not more)

Are there any others that you suggest???

Hero Gear, Guns and Leather, Joelton Gunshop. I try to buy stuff from all of the local stores. I like there being lots of stores to choose from, and the only way to make that possible is to show them all support.

all depends on what part of town you are in and if you are willing to drive

lots of people will drive 2 hours or more to a good gun shop...some won't go more than 15 minutes

Never been to HG but I've been to the others and I really like them. I would also add Guns for America and East Side. I've not been to Bellshire, but I hear good things. Franklin Gun Shop is a great place to kill time, but I won't buy anything from them at their prices. Gun City...... well, as my momma always said "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.":D

What are you looking for?

GFA is the new kid on the block. Their prices are going to make some of the other shops flinch.

As far as Gun City, they are very convenient, have an indoor range, gun rental, and repair on premise. They do the carry class. You generally pay for convenience.

They are always friendly to me. :D

Come to think of it, I do not remember a shop I have gone in for the last couple of decades where I was NOT treated well. :)

Hero-Gear

Guns and Leather

Both worth the drive from Nashville and I have a shop 2.2 miles from my house

Go to Academy Sports & Outdoors! I bought my Ruger P89 there in 2005. They had the best price of any one. When I have the extra money I will buy more handguns, rifles, and shotguns from them. They are always having a sell on their firearms. Ammo to. gearyr

Been to Academy in Rivergate, wouldn't buy from them. I am buying from Guns and Leather in about a month. I like Goodletsville Gun shop, and I would love to head down to Hero Gear.
