I've sold over 50 guns on GB with no returns, but one guy claimed the "didn't clear it with my wife" (sorry, I warrantee the items for sale to be exactly as described with no clause for domestic miscommunication, although I did agree to repurchase it for 75% of the sale price less all shipping charges. He wasn't happy, I wasn't happy). I've purchased a dozen or so off there with never an issue. The key is to have excellent communication between buyer and seller and avoid the warning signs such as: "welp, I donno much 'bout this gun, sellin fur a friend..." I always provide a request to bidders to ask questions, ask for more photos... I expect the same. If a seller won't or can't provide, I don't bid.

Over the years I've also bought and sold through Rock Island, and all the same rules apply

I bought a .357 barrel on there for my Sig P229 and it came in without a hassle... I've got my eye on a few guns, but usually the reserve is set so darn high that I'd be better off buying from a few online vendors I have had good experiences with...
