MAK90 tactical sling.

Okay so this is home made with just a wide length of webbing but it seems to work pretty good, I just need to take it to the range now. With the Dragonov stock I can use this wide sling and it's comfortable. With all the slack out it carries in the low ready in front of me and can bring it up quick to my shoulder. I had a thinner sling that dug into my neck if I carried it that way very long and it wasn't long enough with all the slack out. Even with all the slack in it doesn't interfere with the operation of the rifle. That Dragonov stock really isn't that bad, far superior to that stupid wood thumbhole stock it came with.

I was looking at some tactical slings you can buy and many are not that much different than my home made one. Some attach both ends to the stock but I don't think I like that, the way mine is I can easily take up all the slack, makes it neater for storing in the cabinet and carrying around. Also I can let just enough out to shoulder carry. Let all the slack out a carry low ready, I walked around for 30 minutes last night with a full mag and it didn't bother me that much, I had to shift it a few times, I don't think there's anything perfectly comfortable carrying a 12 lb. rifle& mag. on your neck.
