Looking for federal primers

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to try a premium primer to see if that helps with my extreme spreads, sometimes the ES is 15 sometimes it's 89. I am currently using Winchester large rifle magnums in the blue box, nosler brass, neck size brass with the lee neck sizer, retumbo powder(high ES even with reloader-25) and Hornady 208 AMAX and I'm relaoding for my custom 300wm. I found a couple hundred federal match but they are just large rifle, not the magnums. Would these be safe to try? Does anybody have 100 or so federal match mags that i could buy to see if they work or not?

I have used Federal GM210M a lot in just about everything that's in large rifle. You won't see a big difference but be sure to start low and work up. They seem to flatten out a little sooner than some and I always prime by hand and not the press arm.
