IDPA reloading?

Recommended Posts

At one shoot the range officer tells me that I can't reload on the move. The same range officer, a few months later, tells me I can reload on the move as long as I'm behind cover. There was no mention of reloading in a specific manner. Like "you must do a tac reload before advancing." So can you reload and move at the same time?

Reload behind cover on the move. Can't cross an opening while reloading or empty weapon. Rules changed this year removing the flat footed reload as of March 1st.

Sadly, I told 4 of the people in our squad not to do that. Only two people maybe 3 people did it correctly. Edited by HOGNUT
