TULA 7.62X39 AT WALMART

Recommended Posts

I was at local Walmart yesterday and found 7 boxes of 40 rds each of Tula steel 123g FMJ for $9.94 per box. I bought 5 bx and left 2 bx for the next guy. This is the 1st time that I've found a deal on ammo. Usually what I'm looking for is not in stock. Thought I would share that Walmart has 7.62x39 in stock.

My Wal-Mart usually has the 7.62 Tula in stock, I don't buy a lot of it but it's somewhere in the $5-6 per 20 range.  I have learned to stay stocked up on my recreational calibers though.  Last time I wanted to have a spontaneous range session some bozo had hit both of the local Wal-Mart's and bought every last box of Tula .223, which is my current caliber of choice.

I buy my ammunition online most times or off of sellers. Last time I bought 7.62x39 locally it was bought from Academy. I could have gotten it cheaper online but I needed it immediately.

Ditto.

Unless I just want to travel from store to store and look around, online buying is by far the easiest route to go.

With a little searching, I can get any caliber I use shipped to my door.

I WAS IN MURFREESBORO THIS MORNING AND STOPPED AT WALMART ON OLD FORT PKWY AND BOUGHT 5 MORE BOXES OF 40RDS OF TULA FOR $9.94/BX.

I USUALLY BUY ONLINE TOO BUT SHIPPING COST EATS UP THE BARGAIN UNLESS I GET FROM SPORTSMAN GUIDE WHEN SHIPPING IS FREE FOR OVER $49 PURCHASE. I WAS GOING TO ORDER FROM CHEAPER-THAN-DIRT A 1000 RDS OF TULA FOR $219.95 BUT SHIPPING WAS $48. SO PRICE PER RD WOULD BE $0.268.
