Sig 1911s and adjusting sights

Recommended Posts

I have a Sig 1911 Nitron Rail. I need to adjust the rear sight a bit and I am looking for some feedback as to what sight pusher I should buy. If it fits other pistols it would be nice. Portability and field use are two things I hope the chosen tool has though.

Anyone have some suggestions?

I added a picture for fun.

harbor freight has a clamp vise that can be clamped to any table, it is very similar to one I saw at lowes for about the same money and if you have 20% off coupon then save even more and you can take it anywhere any time pick that up and a few brass punches and your good to go! There is a HF on Riverside a few doors down from hooters.

I not familiar with that particular pistol, but quite often the Novak style sights have a set screw running down through the dovetail from the top. If it does, just loosen it and it should move with no more than a light tap. If not, I just lay the pistol on a padded surface and gently tap it with a brass or nylon punch.
