World Markets Going Down

Recommended Posts

It's always a good idea to have some cash in your portfolio.  When there is a "crash" or major correction, then bargains abound.  And then it's time to buy, buy, buy!!  I like to focus on the following six metrics:

  1. Return on Invested Capital (ROIC or ROC) ≥ 10%
  2. Book Value per Share (BVPS) Growth Rate ≥ 10%
  3. Sales Growth Rate ≥ 10%
  4. EPS Growth Rate ≥ 10%
  5. Cash Growth Rate ≥ 10%
  6. Debt (Payable in 3 years)

I got hit pretty hard last week, was able to get it transferred before getting whacked a second time today.

one more day of drops and I'm back in. if not, I'll wait until it steadies out for a week.

I am in the same boat.  Got out after the first hit.  I am staying out for a while there is little change of big growth and lots of room for the markets to go back down.

Thanks

Robert

QE and low interest rates just keep inflating a bubble that has long needed to pop. The bigger they make the bubble in attempts to delay the business cycle, the bigger the crash will be.
