Only one doe has showed up on a path I have a trail cam on for 3-4 months now.  In mid-July she was normal without any injuries.  Now look at her.  Since there are bears in the area they were my first thought, but I wouldn't bet on it.   I see a straight line cut along the back; and cuts at 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00; that big gouge and maybe two at the top of her front leg.  Any ideas?

Yep. I killed one two years ago with the same scars. She kept jumping and catching the top line of barb wire to get into my granddads plot. I found traces of fur a few times in the summer and she had the same scars in the fall.

I haven't seen any barb wire or any other kind of fence out there.  So if you can go 60-70 acres in any direction how big a range do you think deer have?  I've never really thought about it.
