GITMO Moving to US?

I just saw a report on Foxnews saying Obama will be closing GITMO and bringing the prisoners to US prisons. WTF is this?? The person being interviewed stated they would be tried, convicted, and locked up & the key thrown away.

Let's bring battlefield terrorists within the bounds of the United States and try them like normal criminals. Who is dreaming up this madness? In the event that these guys are found not guilty, would them simply free them or deport them. If they attempt to deport them, what country would want to permit them onto their soil? Maybe we will just set them free in San Fransisco.

This just has bad news written all over it. I guess time will tell. I say they simply release them back on to the battlefield and give them the opportunity to get shot.

Load them into a C-130 and fly them back to the United States. Only open the back and push them out, halfway here, around 30k cruising altitude. No parachutes.

I'm sure we could afford to lose one of our older C130's provided that the crew had chutes but the passengers didn't. Mechanical problems happen frequently.

It is flat out insanity to give battlefield combatants the same legal rights as US citizens. We need to roll-back to the days of firing squads.
