There are quite a few new movies being released in the next week or so and all of them have a lot of violence in them. My son in law asked me to go with the to that new Hit Man movie coming out along with Mission Impossible, Man from UNCLE to name a few and i say thanks but no thanks to all of them. I am wondering if some crazy person is planning to make a HIT on one of them since they all scream violence. Would like to hear thoughts from others. Anyone planning on taking the plunge and going to any of them?

The liberal Hollywood machine continues to make violent movies, all while demanding that no one have access to the same things portrayed in their 'art.'

Myself, I like a good blow-em-up movie, always have. I just can't help but laugh at all the talking about what a violent nation we are, and it is the same liberals who whine about it that produce it.

As I have said before though, I ignore what they say as long as they can sing and dance well enough to entertain me, that is their job. I don't care how flaming liberal Matt Damon (or current action star/antigun mouthpiece) is, he can act, he entertains me.

I don't do movie theaters, I avoid crowds. That means I am normally five years or more behind the curve on films. And television. I stay to busy most of the time to sit and waste two hours on the couch.

My buddy saw the Kingsmen, said it was incredibly violent and this from a guy like Murg who enjoys shoot em up blow em up action flicks.

But everyone knows movies, tv and song lyrics do not have any influence on human behavior, so no worries

I doubt I'll go see one, but that has ZERO to do with the thought that some nut might shoot me there. I have a much better odds of choking to death on my taco bell or falling to my demise in my shower.

I don't let the fear of what someone else might do stop me from doing a whole lot. I try to use common sense and decide whats really worth doing and whats not, but being afraid of an unknown boogie man does not appeal to me.

The price of admit ion, lack of interest in the films and ridiculous food costs are what keep m out of the theaters more than anything. I'm actually waiting on a movie worth spending $15 an hour on as I like the movies.

I don't buy into the notion that just because it's a violent movie it will make someone come in the theater and shoot you. If that were the case I would go to a lot of lesbian porn movies.  HAAAAAA.

We really need to see if it's possible to have a private screening of that for TGO members...
